Brief Career Details:
Served in the Royal Engineers between September 1961 and
March 1972. Carried out land surveys in the United Kingdom,
South Arabia, Singapore and Borneo (Sabah, East Malaysia)
Overseas Service Aid Scheme with the Government of Botswana
Department of Surveys & Lands from 1972 until 1989. He has
served as the private sector of the Republic of Botswana
Land Survey Board.
Director of Geological & Geodetic Services Botswana in control
of the land surveying division. Carried out broad spectrum
land surveys throughout the country from 1990 until 1994.
Established Survey Services Botswana, carrying out surveys as
above but with a strong emphasis on boundary work from 1995
until 2007.
Joined David J Powell Surveys as a consultant in the resolution
of boundary disputes in 2007.
Particular area of Expertise:
Boundary surveying in an urban development context and the
re-establishment of lost or uncertain boundary lines.
